The Studio, or as we call it The Club House, was once the home of the Wheels of Freedom Motorcycle Club established in the early 1970’s. These bikers with hearts of gold and a few rough edges took great care in building a beautiful home base for their biker fun. We acquired the property in 2009 and have made a few changes but over all we wanted to leave some little touches that reminded us of the history of the property. When walking around buildings you will be able to still see these little reminders. The property is nestled in the depths of a hollow just outside Abingdon VA. This is the kind of place where you go when you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature and your artistic side. We have room for camping including out house, four camper hook ups and plenty of space to pitch a tent. The main building contains a dry kitchen , covered shelter with three picnic tables, and a large grill. So join us for a relaxing day of art, friendship and rustic beauty that we were lucky enough to find.
